Daydream medallion - 16th Birthday Card

This is the card I've made for Olivia for her 16th birthday which is today. (I cased this card from www.pattisstampingstudio.blogspot.com)
Livy is my harshess critic of my cards, telling me if something is crooked or not centred. So you can I imagine the pressure I feel making her card each year. I have studied my card intensely and I think it is fault free!
Olivia has had a busy and exciting week. She auditioned for a full time selective ballet school - Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching Academy on Monday and has been accepted into the full time programme for 2014. She did her Advanced 1 ballet exam at the RAD at Darlinghurst on Wednesday. We are so proud of her and her achievements, she has worked so hard to make her dreams turn into reality. Still a long way to go but she is happy to work hard and keep pursuing them.
Happy Birthday Livy, have a lovely day.

Heartfelt - Stampin' Event - Sydney

I'm looking forward to attending the
Heartfelt - Stampin' Event in Sydney this Saturday.
It was suggested that we make our own name badge to wear -
giving the opportunity to share your creative talent with other attendees!
Well, this is my attempt at a "name badge"!
It is clean and simple (bit like me! :)
I haven't had a lot of time lately to play in my craft room, so this
is the best I can come up with.
I've used 2 of my favourite colours, Midnight Muse and Marina Mist.
Daydream Medallions stamp set and the
Framelits - Floral Frames.
Some Midnight Muse Satin stitched ribbon
and some rhinestones for a bit of bling!
I'm sure there will be some outstanding creations which will put my feeble attempt to shame.
Oh well, I had fun making it :)

More Daydream Medallions

Another card using the "Daydream Medallions" stamp set.
I've also used the new In Colours, Gumball Green and Raspberry Ripple.
The "Floral Framelits" have been used to cut the two medallions.
"Merry & Type" features in the centre of the medallions.
"Perfect Polka Dot" EF has been used for a background effect.
Embellished with diamontes and raised with dimentionals completes this card.
Matt came into my craft room and he thought it was a
25th Wedding Anniversary card!
The use of different colours and maybe a "congratulations"
somewhere and there you have an Anniversary card.

Daydream Medallions

"Daydream Medallions" is a stamp set that I received at Convention
this year.  The "Floral Framelits" is a perfect match with this stamp set.
There are multiple medallion stamps in the set
ranging in various sizes.
I embossed the Soft Suede piece of cardstock with the "Lacy Brocade" EF.
I then stamped the largest medallion, then lined up the next largest and stamped
it inside the first, both in Crumb Cake ink.
I then stamped the christmas image from "Perfect Punches" in
"Gumball Green" and "Raspberry Ripple" inks.
I punched the Gumball Green image with the scallop circle punch and
Raspberry Ripple  image with the 1 3/8" circle punch.
Embellished with Perals and the new 1cm satin stitched ribbon
finishes off this card nicely.

Daydream Medallions

I've been playing with some of the new products in the catalouge.
This was a make and take from convention 2012.
Stamp sets: Daydream Medallion and Memorable moments.
Elegant butterfly punch one of the new punches in the catalogue.
Gorgeous vintage facet designer buttons, think I'll be buying a lot of these
(and I'm not really into buttons):

More Paper Piecing Cards

This time I used the Timeless Christmas Designer Series Paper and the Swirls of Magic embossing folder for my card. I heat embossed a sentim...
