A little bit Abstract for a card

A little bit abstract for me, but I really enjoyed stepping outside my usual style with this one! 😊

I’ve used the Gears & Textures stamp set, Fern & Flora dies, Collage Botanicals stamp set and the Tile Garden stamp set for the sentiment — available from 1st September.

Finished off with Black Baker’s Twine, Dewdrop Embellishments and the beautiful In Color Pearlised Paper.

Make & Create/Card and a Cuppa - Festive Cheer bundle - 29.7.2026

July’s Make & Create we played with a bundle from the July online exclusive range called "Festive Cheer" this is a stamp die bundle and a two step stamp set.  It has nice christmas sentiments and dies that can cut the baubles out and an additional sentiment and branch for hanging the baubles off.

Make it Monday - July Paper Pumpkin - Hooray for Birthdays - 27.7.2026

We had a look at the July Paper Pumpkin kit - Hooray for Birthdays!

Card and a Cuppa - Shadow Blocking technique - 22.7.2026

For this week’s card we played with a new technique that is doing the rounds, called "Shadow Blocking". I chose to use the Blooms Boutique Specialty paper from the May - Aug Catalogue. 1" squares are the key to this technique.  I've also used a retired embossing folder "Beautiful Patterns" but an embossing folder you own already own would work too.  My sentiment comes from a Stampin' Up! kit, called Birthday Fancy, which is still current in the Kits Collection in the online store.  Adding a little bow and some In Colour Butterfly embellishments just finished this card off nicely.
