Card and a Cuppa - Shadow Blocking technique - 22.7.2026

For this week’s card we played with a new technique that is doing the rounds, called "Shadow Blocking". I chose to use the Blooms Boutique Specialty paper from the May - Aug Catalogue. 1" squares are the key to this technique.  I've also used a retired embossing folder "Beautiful Patterns" but an embossing folder you own already own would work too.  My sentiment comes from a Stampin' Up! kit, called Birthday Fancy, which is still current in the Kits Collection in the online store.  Adding a little bow and some In Colour Butterfly embellishments just finished this card off nicely.

Make it Monday - Woodland Wishes - 20.7.2026

Today's card is using the Woodland Wishes stamp set that came out in the July online exclusives. 

This is a stand alone set # 168243 $37.00AUD. 

It's such a cute little Christmas set and great for some easy colouring, using Stampin' Blends or Water Colour pencils, the choice is yours. 

This card will be part of a new set of classes I'll be running for the next 4 months leading up to Christmas.

No envelopes will be included as this will enable me to keep the postage costs down for you.

 Receive 10 card bases, ready to make 5 cards each of 2 designs.

Receive the matting piece and all the die cut pieces required for the cards.

As you will own the stamp set, you can stamp and colour your own images in a production line situation and get 10 cards completed ready for Christmas. 

You then add your own embellishments and envelopes to your cards.

Card and a Cuppa - Stamping One Sheet Wonder - Gears & Textures - 15.7.2026

Today we played with a One Sheet Wonder layout with stamping rather than designer series paper.  

By finding the centre of the card stock and stamping down the centre lines and cutting it into 4, you get 4 card fronts that you can add a sentiment or another image that you've stamped and cut out, I added an image from the Ready Set Go stamp set that at the time of creating this is on the Last Chance Products list.  Be sure to visit my online store www.denisemaccabe.stampinup.net and have a look at the online exclusives and the last chance products.

Make it Monday - Festive Cheer Sketch card - 13.7.2026

Using some products from the July online exclusive range, Festive Cheer bundle and the Swirls of Magic embossing folder and a card sketch to create a beautiful Christmas card.  I've also used the 2026-2028 In Colour Pearlised Specialty Paper, Gold foil, Stylish Shape dies and some retired Gold trim to complete this lovely little card.

Card and a Cuppa - Stained Glass Window technique - 8.7.2026

Today we're play with a beautiful technique that I haven't done for a while, 

called the Stained Glass Technique. 

I'm used a new suite that was released on the 1st July called Violet Dreams Suite.

Make it Monday - Artisan Sketched Garden Design Paper - 6.7.2026

Today we played with the Artisan Sketched Garden paper and the Fern and Flora bundle and our beautiful Shimmer brushes.  If you're starting out, this beautiful black and white paper is perfect for colouring with pencils, blends or the shimmer brushes. Add a die cut with a sentiment and you have a beautiful hand made card to give to someone.
