For this week’s card we played with a new technique that is doing the rounds, called "Shadow Blocking". I chose to use the Blooms Boutique Specialty paper from the May - Aug Catalogue. 1" squares are the key to this technique. I've also used a retired embossing folder "Beautiful Patterns" but an embossing folder you own already own would work too. My sentiment comes from a Stampin' Up! kit, called Birthday Fancy, which is still current in the Kits Collection in the online store. Adding a little bow and some In Colour Butterfly embellishments just finished this card off nicely.
