Partridge in a Pear Tree

I love this set, even though I don't own it.
At my last team meeting we all had a play with sets we hadn't bought from the Holiday catalogue.
This is a great stamp image to colour.
I've used my SU markers here, some washi tape (I seem to have a real problem with washi tape, I collect it but rarely use it, even though I love it!). I've used some Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details on the little cherries on the tree. The large dot EF has a nice textured effect too.

60th Wedding Anniversay Card

I made this card for my Mum for her 60th Wedding Anniversary.

I felt it was still a milestone worthy of a card for Mum.
I used all SU products:

Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla.
Inks: Versa Mark, Crumb cake.
Accessories: white EP, rhinestones, scallop circle, word window, modern label punches, junior alphabet sizzlits, big shot.

Off the Grid - notebook

I made the cover to this little notebook using Off the Grid stampset.
I coped this idea straight from this years catalogue.
I just washed some ink over the cardstock using an aqua painter, I then stamped the image twice with versamark ink. Using gold embossing powder I heat set the stamped image. I added some letters cut from a retired alphabet die. I attached the cover page to the top of the notebook with another piece of cardstock that wrapped around from the back, over the spine and then over the front cover. I used sticky strip to adhere it altogether. I finished it off with a little bit of faux stitching.
A little extra in Mark's Xmas stocking.

It's Christmas in the Heart

I
I made a few cards of this design for Mark, Matt, Livy and my nieces for Christmas.
I used some retired DSP, some Cherry Cobbler core-donations cardstock, Lacey Brocade EF (r).
With a little bit of layering and embossing for texture,
A simple stamped image can look very elegant.

Need for Speed Easel Card

My boss celebrated his birthday this weekend.
I made this card for my work colleague and I to give him.
His boyhood dream was to be a fighter pilot when he grew up.
A fighter jet is his screensaver on his laptop.
I don't work for a fighter pilot!
He is a doctor/cardiologist.
He didn't pass the eye test to be a fighter pilot, he had to have perfect vision. :(
When I heard he had a special birthday coming up I knew exactly the stamp set to use.
He goes flying whenever he gets the chance and has been up in fighter jets!
I've used all SU products;
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Pool Party, Night of Navy (R) and Whisper White.
Stamp sets: Need for Speed (R), Bring on the Cake.
inks: Basic Black, Pool Party, Night of Navy.
Accessories: Window Framelits, Perfect Polkadot EF, Square lattice EF, Scallop circle punch, sponges, Jnr alphabet sizzlit dies (R), blender pen.

Field Flowers

This is a really simple card made with the 2 step stamp set Field Flowers.
I've stamped the stem and background flower in Basic Black and then stamped the filled in flower using Whisper White ink. A message of sympathy stamped and punched out and layered creates a beautiful and elegant sympathy card but you could use any message, "thinking of you", "get well wishes", "thank you" or even "birthday greetings".
All products SU:
Card stock: Natural Ivory, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla and Basic Black.
Inks: Basic black, Whisper White.
Accessories: wide oval punch and decorative label punch.
