DSP 3x3 Share

This is a bit of a fun photo. I did a DSP 3x3 share with fellow demonstrators. OMG the cutting that was required. This picy only shows 1 share. On each little pile there are 32 pieces of dsp which had to go to 16 fellow demonstrators. As some of you know I display my DS Papers in an A4 display book and it gives you a better idea of what the papers all look like. I ran 2 shares with demonstrators all over Australia joining in. It was great to be emailing to and fro with other ladies that love what they do as much as I do. The 32 shares ae all posted out now and my arm is recovering from all the cutting! :)

October Christmas S-A-S

These are the 2 cards I am offering for the October S-A-S.

The first card is using a set called "Snow Swirled" I have been wanting this set for awhile and when it reappeard in the new caty I decided it was time to get it. It co-ordinates with the "So Swirly" jumbo wheel.

The second card is using an all time favourite "Lovely as a Tree" and "Many Merry Messages".

Christmas S-A-S are 10 cards, 5 of each design for $25.

Tuesday 19th October at 9.30am - 12.30pm

Friday 22nd October at 7.30pm - 10.30pm.

Email me on denisemaccabe@gmail.com if you'd like to come along.

Sympathy Card

Sympathy cards I find are really hard ones to make. I try to make them simple but elegant. Not too much embellishing. This is a Sympathy card I made for one of the Doctors I work for. I used the Manhattan Flower embossing folder, "Teeny Tiny Sentiments" stamp set. This is a great stamp set with 24 sentiments that all fit in the "Word Window" punch except for one. A bit of 1/4" grosgrain ribbon and a belt buckle from the "Hodgepodge Hardware". I think it turned out quite lovely.

Crimped Diamond Card

This is a card I made from Splitcoaststampers. Splitcoast is a great website to get ideas and inspiration.

You mark the card up and score it, then fold the triangles in and run it through the crimper half way, then pop it out turn the card around, fold the triangles in and run the other side through the crimper. What a great effect it makes.

I then stamped the "Tree Trimmings" bauble in Riding Hood Red and dazzling diamonds.

"Paris" - The Story

This is a 12x12 page I did using the new "Newsprint" DSP and "Artistic Etchings" stampset. I have framed some photos of when Mark and I were in Paris back in 1985, using the Top Note Die. I have also used 2 stamp sets that have just retired, "Volia" and "Life Definitions" but I just love these 2 sets and this page really just had to have them. The photos of Paris, the Eiffel Tower, the River Seine and the Notre Dame Cathedral are not the best, the weather was dull and grey and of course there were no digital cameras back in 1985. How technology has advanced and improved. One day we will go back to Paris and take better photos!!!!

"Dasher" - Stepped Up

Here is my little "Dasher" a la carte stamp stepped up a notch or two from the card in the September S-A-S. The "a la carte" range are a range of single stamps ranging in price from $11.95 to $14.95. I just love this little guy!!! :). I CASEd this card from another demonstrator - Melissa Davies. Thanks Melissa for a great idea and use of this stamp.
