Card and a Cuppa - Layered 3D Embossing Folder

In last Friday's "Card and a Cuppa" I played with the beautiful Layered Florals 3D Embossing folder.
The first card, on the left, I ran the Basic White card stock through the Cut & Emboss machine with the Layered Florals embossing folder.  I then used the small blending brushes to carefully and gently apply the ink to the flowers and the leaves.  I used a die from the Scalloped Contour dies and the Go to Greetings stamp set for the sentiment.  I finished the card off with some White & Silver edged sheer ribbon (carried over from the Holiday Mini Catalogue) and some Iridescent Rhinestones.

The second card, on the right, I applied ink to the top side of the embossing folder (the side with the SU logo), placed my Basic White card stock inside the folder and ran it through the Cut & Emboss machine.  Most of the ink transfers to the debossed side of the card stock.  If you want all the debossed section of card stock covered with the ink, I used an aqua painter and ink on a block to fill in any gaps to complete the background.  I used a tag from the Stylish Shape dies, Layering Leaves stamp set sentiment, Iridescent Rhinestones and Moody Mauve textured ribbon to complete the card.
