Card and a Cuppa - 12 Weeks of Christmas - Card Sketches - 10.12.2025

Today's Card and a Cuppa is week 11 of our 12 Weeks of Christmas using sketches to create quick and easy cards. 

I used the Traditions of Christmas Specialty Paper, Glass and Garden Embossing Folder (R) Decorative Tree stamp set and the Traditional Sparkling Sequins to finish off the card.  Using sketches are a great way to create easy cards, especially at this time of year.

Make it Monday - “W” Fold card - 8.12.2025

Today we used the Hobby Haven Suite which is an online exclusive suite collection.  I made this "W" fold not so long ago with the Kintsugi Inspirations Suite.  It’s a pretty fun funfold as you don't know what is going to happen until you open the card and that's where the WOW is. 

All the measurements are here:

Cardbase: 10.5cm x 28cm (Coastal Cabana) scored at 14cm. 

Card matting pieces:  13cm x 10cm (Secret Sea) x 4

DSP matting pieces: 12.5cm x 9.5cm  x 3 (these can be all the same or different)

Folding mechanism:  3cm x 28cm, scored at 7cm, 14cm and 21cm (Basic Beige)

Front panel: 6.5cm x 7.5cm 

Front panel matting piece: 6cm x 7cm.

Inside panels: 6.5cm x 5cm (Secret Sea) x 4

Inside matting panels: 6cm x 4.5cm (Basic Beige) x 4 embossed with embossing folder.

The front panel is up to you as to how you wish to decorate the front of the card, you may have other die shapes you'd like to use for your sentiment.

Using up our Designer Series Papers to create little gift bags for treats.

Make it Monday - Diagonal Gatefold Cards - 24.11.2025

Today we are used our beautiful papers to make an easy fun fold card that will WOW your friends and family. 

• DSP 6” x 12”, score at 2”, 4”, 8” and 10” on the 12” side of the paper
• Turn the paper to the 6” side and place a pencil mark at the 3” on both ends
• Place the second score line (4”) and the pencil mark on the side, line them up in the cutting track on your trimmer and cut diagonally (making sure your paper is the correct direction if you’re using directional paper. 
• Add you’re inserts measuring 5 1/2” x 3 1/2” and 5 1/4” x 3 1/4” 
• Add your feature die cuts to the front of your card usin Dimentionals on the left hand side, once you’ve stamped and decorated it the way you want

Using a sketch to create our festive season cards.  Sketches make card making so much easier and enjoyable.  I've used the Peaceful Garden DSP, Stylish Shape dies, Beautiful Patterns 3D embossing folder and a sentiment to complete our card.
