Planes, Trains and Boats

Some more vintage masculine cards using some of the "swap" type cardsI got from a recent craft show. Love how these cards come together so easily and yet look so good.
Getting in early with hubby's Father's Day card.

Screen Shutter Card

I made this Screen shutter card for my Mum for her birthday this week.
I used a combination of SU products and a couple of items from my craft stash.
Instructions:
A4 piece of cardstock and trimmed down to 29cm x 18cm.
Scored at 14.5cm (in 1/2) and then at 7.25cm (1/4's).
Along the top edge I used the SU Heart Border punch.
For the legs of the Screen I used the SU Decorative Label punch.
You can fold 2 sections together and punch at the same time,
(don't try to punch through all 4 sections),
you "eyeball" it to get them as even as you can.
Each panel is layered with 13cm x 6.5cm cardstock and 12.5cm x 6cm cardstock.
Decorate as desired.

SU products used:
Cardstock: Basic Grey, Pool Party, Natural White (R).
Stamps: Established Elegance (R), Petite Pairs
Accessories: Decorative Label and Heart Border punches.

A Touch of Vintage

At a recent craft show I picked up some small packets of cards with a vintage feel to them. I love the old fashioned vintage look but I do struggle with it.
I just loved these cards of old corsets.
The card above is using Chocolate Chip, Soft Suede and Natural White (R), Blushing Bride, Pink Piourette, Rose Red cardstock.
Accessories used are Basic Pearls, Doilie, Soft Suede ink, Sponge and Itty Bitty Accent flower punch.
Stamp set used was Established Elegance (R).
I've also added another flower embellishment I had in my craft stash.
This card I've used Basic Grey, Mint Macaron, Natural White (R), Rose Red, Blushing Bride, Smoky Slate card stock.
Accessories are the same as above except for Inks used were Smoky Slate, Mint Macaron.

Watercolour Thank You

My play time in my craft room is quite limited lately but I was able to have a quick play with the
Watercolour Thank you stamp.
It makes such a quick thank you card and you can dress it up as much or as little as you like.
On the first card I stamped Bordering Blooms around the thank you and coloured the flowers in.
On the second card I stamped the little flowers from Cottage Greetings and coloured them in.
I've used some retired DSP, the oval Framelits and some twine and pearls to add a bit of texture and colour to the cards.

Butterfly Basics

Some more birthday cards, this one from Lorraine Sonnberg, also one I need to case.
This card was from my sister using By the Seashore and Wetlandps.

Petite Petals Stamp set

Petite Petals is a stamp set I hadn't added to my collection, even though my SU down lines insisted it was one I needed to have. Some of them finally convinced me after receiving 3 birthday cards made with this stamp set. From left to right Felicity Hawkins' card, Margaret Harlum's card and Jan Harding's card. Beautiful ladies. I may just start by casing your cards.
