Washi Tape Xmas card

I got this idea from Alisa Tilsner another Stampin' Up demonstrator.
I used some retired and current washi tape.
I used the Star Framelits and cut out some silver and gold card stock.
I punched a little star from the glimmer paper.
I think they look quite effective.

Stamp sets: Atistic Etchings, Good Greetings.
Ink: Real Red, Old Olive.

Deck the Halls

Another KISS card.
Using up retired DSP and a stamp from my old stash.
Love my EF how they give texture to a card.
Coloured with blendabilities and a bit of sponging.
Finished off with some cherry cobbler dazzling details.
Another quick 10 cards on the weekend.

Washi Tape card

Using the KISS principle I made 10 of these cards fairy quickly on the weekend.
I love the Filigree Frame EF. Covered a piece of cardstock with washi tape (which I seem to collect).
I then layered it on some cherry cobbler card, embellished with some ribbon and a retired greeting.
10 quick cards. Done.

Shutter Screen Card

Shutter screen card we made
at my last class for the year on Saturday.
Using the confetti star border punch for the top of the card. We stamped Lovely as a Tree and Endless Wishes snowflakes. We decorated the trees and the centre of the snowflakes with dazzling details.
Would like to make some more of these using different stamp sets

Card making with friends

Once a month I get together with friends for a Cardmaking day.
We all have a turn of hosting the day and designing the cards we make.
These are 2 of the cards we made last week.
It's great to get ideas from others and to do different styles, sometimes out of your comfort zone.
It's always a lovely day.

Folded Star Card

Here is another folded star card.
These cards are really easy to make and have such a WOW factor to them.
It's all about how much you want to decorate them.

Partridge in a Pear Tree

Our team challenge this month is using non-traditional Christmas Colours
Blackberry Bliss, Crushed Curry, Whisper White all fit the bill.
All products SU:
Inks: Black Momento Ink, SU markers and Blendabilities.
Accessories: Laege dot EF, Big Shot, Whisper White satin ribbon, Doilie, Word window and Modern Label punches, Cherry Cobbler dazzling details.

Bright and Beautiful

Using non-traditional Christmas colours is easy with the beautiful "All is Calm" DSP.
I've focused more on the DSP than the stamping on this card.
All products SU:
Cardstock: Smoky Slate, Lost Lagoon, Whisper White
Ink: Pear Pizazz
Accessories: All is Calm DSP, Dot EF, Big Shot, Dimentionals

Endless Wishes

A super simple card I cased from Pinterest.
I've used the Confetti Star punch and Endless Wishes stamp set.
Non traditional Christmas Colours, Blackberry Bliss and Whisper White, some coloured Bakers Twine and a retired embellishment from last year's Holiday Catty.

Partridge in a Pear Tree

I love this set, even though I don't own it.
At my last team meeting we all had a play with sets we hadn't bought from the Holiday catalogue.
This is a great stamp image to colour.
I've used my SU markers here, some washi tape (I seem to have a real problem with washi tape, I collect it but rarely use it, even though I love it!). I've used some Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details on the little cherries on the tree. The large dot EF has a nice textured effect too.

Christmas Star Fold Card and Shutter Card

These are 2 cards that have a real WOW factor.
This class is on Saturday 29th November 2.00-4.30pm
Cost $25 (cash)
Bookings essential, limit of 8 to a class.

Blended Bloom

I've been playing with the blendabilities, trying to perfect the technique.
I'm still not completely happy with my blending but I'll keep practicing.
I've used Crushed Curry and Calypso Coral
(not at all my colours, trying to live life on the edge a bit!).

Fox & Friends Baby Card

This was he other card we made at Stamp Club.
The ladies wanted to use this retired set for a baby card.
There is a new set in the catalogue of similar little animals that you could use to achieve a similar look.

Such a versatile stamp set.

Work of Art

My stamp club asked me to do cards with the "Work of Art" stamp set.
One of the ladies sent me link to check out some designs with this set.
These two cards are using the new in colours, Blackberry Bliss, Lost. Lagoon, Hello Honey.
Such quick simple cards but look really good.

So many candles

My niece turns 25 today! I think she feels she is getting old!
I thought this card still had a childish feel to it.
