Christmas Extravaganza Day

As promised I have uploaded 4 of the projects we will be making at the
"Christmas Extravaganza Day"
on Sunday 7th November
at The Grange at Wyoming
from 10.30am to 4pm.
The project on the left is great for chocolates or shortbreads.
The project on the right is a lovely little box for a gift card voucher or maybe some jewellery.

This project is a Christmas scrap 12x12 page.
The space for the photo will take a regular 6x4 print.

This project consists of 10 Christmas gift tags.

There are another 4 projects that we will be making on the day but I will leave them as a surprise.

Medallion Stamp - 13th and 21st Birthdays

These are 2 very special birthday cards that I made recently.

The 13th birthday card above is for my daughter, Olivia. Her birthday is this Sunday. She is a bit of a "pink" girl and she likes a bit of bling and glitter. She likes to do boyish things as well, probably comes from having an older brother. Olivia and I went and saw "FAME" at the Capitol Theatre in Sydney last weekend as one of her birthday gifts. Livy absolutely loved the old theatre and the musical. Miss Amy from "So You Think You Can Dance" season 1 is one of Liv's dance teachers and Miss Amy has a role in "FAME". We had a great girly day.

This 21st birthday card I made for my neice. Melissa turned 21 this week and I thought both the girls could share a similar card.

Both cards I clear embossed the "Medallion" background stamp added the appropriate numbers and glittered them up, on Melissa's I also put a Rhinestone brad in the centre of the circles. I think both girls liked their cards.

I cased these cards off Marelle Taylor's blog.

Cards from other Demonstrators

I recently did a DSP 3x3 share with fellow demonstrators from all over Australia. It was a lot of work but also fun to be communicating with other demos from WA, Vic, Qld, SA and NSW. Below are a couple of cards I received from demonstrators thanking me for the share.

The card above is from Felicity Hawkins. She has used the Manhattan Flower embossing folder, the new flower punch with the Fine Flourish small background stamp, I think Felicity also used some of the new Shimmer Paint on the flower, new antique brads. Photo doesn't do the card justice.
The second card is from Robyn Williams in Queensland. Robyn has used Pocket Silhouettes and Every Moment stamp sets. The background clouds have been sponged using the scallop circle punch as a mask. Robyn said in her card that she can't claim credit for this card, she cased it off the net but can't remember who or where.
Both beautiful cards, thank you ladies.

Scam Email

Just wanted to let people know that in the early hours of this morning a scam email was sent via my gmail/email account. The scam looked very real and authentic. The email said that I am in Spain at a conference and that I had been robbed and I needed money forwarded so that I could return home.

The scammers have wiped all my contacts in my gmail account. I have tried to contact as many people by sms text msg and through Stampin'Connections. Unfortunately this won't cover everyone.

I now have the joyous task of trying to set up all my contacts again.

I hope this hasn't caused anyone inconvenience and that you all realised it was a scam.
My new email is denisemaccabe@gmail.com
