I have finally got around to making a "Tri-fold" card. I have used the stamp set "Sense of Time" which was in a mini catalogue last year and has reappeared in the new 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalogue. I have used the new Designer Series Paper "Newsprint" to give the finishing touches to this card. I am really pleased with how this card turned out.
"Perfect Punches" is a new stamp set in the new 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalogue. It is a set of 6 stamps which all co-ordinate with 6 of the punches in the new catalogue.
"Printed Petals" is another new stamp set in the new 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalogue. Two very simple cards showing this stamp set but you are only limited by your imagination as to what you could do with this set.
The photo doesn't do the above card justice. The Eiffel tower has been stamped then stamped again and mounted using dimentionals. The beautiful red flower was made using the "Scallop Circle" punch.
A little bit of "Hodgepodge Hardware" and some Taffeta Ribbon adds a tough of elegance to the card above.
A waterfall card made perfect use of all the stamps in this set. Teamed together with some new Designer Series Paper "Newsprint" and this is another beautiful and effective card.

"Scribble This" is a stamp set that is staying in the New Catalogue. Here are a couple of cards made using this stamp set and the Top Note Die, Polka Dot embossing folder through the Big Shot, Word Window punch and Scallop Oval punch. A touch of dazzling diamonds is all the bling that is required.
This is a cute little stamp set called "Pocket Silhouettes" which is staying and will be in the new catalogue. I put the backgrounds through the Big Shot with an embossing folder, mounted the stamped image on varying cardstock to match the stamped images and attached to A5 "Very Vanilla" card.
Here are the 2 Father's Day Cards we will be making at the Father's Day Class on Friday 26th August at 7.30 -9.30pm. Cost is $10 for the class. We will be decorating the inside of the cards as well. I am using a couple of simple techniques in this class, one using the spritzer tool and the other is heat embossing. If you would like to make a 2nd set of cards that will be an extra $5 and I will need to know when you book in so I can have everything pre cut for you. Email me if you'd like to do this class.
"Always" is a stamp set that is not retiring and will be in the new catalogue. I wanted to make a wedding card that was simple and elegant.
The bottom 2 cards are "Embrace Life". I'd say this stamp set is the one I am most saddest about it retiring. I have used "Embrace Life" so much in workshops and stamp-a-stacks. Now that it is retiring I have no reason not to get "Fifth Ave Floral" which I always felt was very similar. "Embrace Life" is a set of 5 stamps.
A great stamp set for Valentine's Day but as always with Stampin' Up it doesn't have to be just for Valentine's Day. "A Happy Heart" is a set of 6 stamps.
For the Master Chefs out there, this is a fun stamp set. Set of 6 stamps, the Chef, birthday cake, wine cheese & grapes, lid for the platter, "Happy Birthday" and "Bon Appetit!"
Set of 4 stamps. "Thank you", "Hi", "Congrats", "For You". They all match the scallop square punch. Great little set for quick and easy cardmaking. 
Beautiful Australian Native stamp set of 3, Banksia, Gum Blossums, Waratah.

The Birthday card is so, so simple and the beautiful flower we make using the Scallop Circle punch - learnt this trick from Convention this year. This is a cute little card holder that I made, got the pattern off Splitcoast Stampers. Not sure about the sides being in D/S paper. It doesn't hold the "accordian" shape very well, otherwise I quite like it. I may just play with the pattern a little and see if I can fix the sides up to be firmer. If I have success I will offer this as a Project Class down the track.
Do you like my Chinese dolls? My husband has had a couple of trips to China for work in the last few months and he brought me back these beautiful Chinese papers. I had to make up some appropriate cards using these papers. The papers are beautiful and a bit like rice paper.
