Christmas Cards
Gift card Holder
Here is a snazzy Gift Card Holder I made for my sister for her birthday. I used the Butterfly Prints stamp set and co-ordinating butterfly punch and the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder. This stamp set worked perfectly with the Bodyshop Gift card I got her with the "Nature" theme. Now Narelle is a SU demonstrator herself, it seemed pointless to give her SU products!!!! Although you can never have too much Stamping products.
Stampin' Up Regionals Sydney
Last Saturday I attended the Stampin' Up Regional meeting in Sydney at the Sofitel Wentworth. It was a great day of catching up with fellow demonstrators, sharing swaps, doing some make and takes and listening to guest demonstrators talk about various topics. The above 3 photos were 3 of the make and takes we did, I am yet to make the 4th one. We received the "Every Moment" stamp set for attending regionals. This was not a set that I had on my wish list but we learnt tricks about watercolouring and it is a lovely little set to do watercolouring with. I will be running some Watercolouring classes in the New Year with this stamp set.

Stampin' Up Regionals
I am off on Saturday to the Stampin' Up Regionals at the Sydney Wentworth.
I am really looking forward to the day.
I have finally finished making my swaps that I will be taking with me.
Here is a peek at them.
A Christmas swap using a non-christmas stamp set, "Scribble This" and the new Elegant Bouquet embossing folder.
This swap I have used the new "Just Believe" stamp set.
I have stamped with bleach trimmed the card with some ribbon and cardstock edged with the new Scallop Trim Border punch, stamped the sentiment and used the Spritzer tool on the sentiment (photo doesn't show this properly).
Never Ending Card
Recently my sister, Narelle was up from Canberra for a few days.
Narelle is my first downline.....yay me!!!
She is totally addicted to stamping and cardmaking and now has her own little group of ladies that come along to her Stamp Club and she is running SAS and classes
(not so daunting when you have teacher training behind you).
Anyway, Narelle went off to a class in Canberra to learn how to make a
"Never Ending Card".
The card is amazing.
We got together while Narelle was up and made one using Stampin' Up stamps and card.
The first photo is the front of the card.
You then fold that section open and the 3rd photo is the third inside of the card.
You then open up the next section and you have the final layer of the card - the 4th photo.
One more fold and you are back to the beginning of the card - the 5th photo.
Back at the beginning of the card.
This is such a cool card to look at and play with, it just keeps folding and opening, folding and opening, it never ends - ie, The Never Ending Card.
I plan on running a "Never Ending Card" class early in the New Year.

Medallion Stamp
I borrowed the "Medallion" background stamp from my friend Gemma a couple of weeks ago and had a play with it. I cased the technique used here from the very talented Linda Higgins.
The technique involves stamping the Medallion stamp in Versa Mark. Then with your sponge daubers and pastels you dauber colour over the versa mark. Darker colours I found didn't work as well as they seemed to smudge. You only need to gentle dauber the colour.
Such an easy technique and makes a beautiful quick card.
Butterfly Thank You
I was wanting to make this card straight after the "Extravaganza" for my girl, Olivia but I was very sick last week and couldnt' get to do very much crafting.
Finally on the weekend I got to make a few cards. This was one of them.
I originally cased this card from Melissa Garland a while ago.
I changed the colour scheme, put a bit of bling on it and gave this to Livy who helped me so much with the "Extravaganza" day, I slipped some money inside as well.
She is saving up for an Ipod Itouch.
Livy always has good ideas and she made some suggestions on how to "Bling" the card up even more.... around the edges of the butterfly put some 2 way glue pen, then sprinkle Dazzling Diamonds over the glue, the butterflies would then have very sparkely wings.
You can never have too much sparkle.
I will have to try Livy's suggestion on the next Butterfly card I make.
Love you Liv! :)

November Stamp-a-Stack
The great thing about being a SU demo is that you have access to many things through the demonstrator website. "Stampin' Connections" is a bit like Facebook or a Forum for all demonstrators in Australia and New Zealand. It is a place where we can share our creativity with other demos and get ideas from each other. The above card is from Stampin' Connections and I cased it from Jodene Tripp. Using one of the new Christmas sets "Delightful Decorations" and the new ornament punch. We will be making this card in the November S-A-S.
This is a card that I quickly whipped up and thought it would be great for a S-A-S as it is so quick and easy. Using the "Holly" wheel and the "Bird Punch" and a Christmas sentiment you have a very nice Christmas Card. This is the second card we will be making in the November S-A-S.
Christmas Cards
These are a couple of Christmas Cards I have made recently, the card above I cased from Rhonda Statham. I have used the "Artistic Etchings" stamp set in a clever way. to make the baubles together with the "Vintage" embosing folder through the Big Shot, some new 1/8" taffeta ribbon. I added the "Musical Notes" wheel and the "Lace Trim" border punch. In this card I have used the two-step "Bird" punch and the "Top Note" die. A very simple yet pretty card trimmed up with a jumbo eyelet and a vanilla ribbon and a little strip of DSP.
